It’s an interesting concept. A fireplace that moves. I can think of several situations where this would be highly advantageous. If you or your spouse are prone to redecorating frequently and moving furniture around, it would be even more convenient to be able to move the fireplace along with the couch. How cool is that??
Portable electric fireplaces are ideal for small homes and apartments that do not have a chimney and where installing a flue may be impractical. These portable designs are also ideal for bedrooms and mobile homes. While some electric fireplaces are designed for appearance only, others are constructed with heaters replacing the worries of fumes.
